Tom Rodgers currently serves as EVP, Chief Strategy and Business Development Officer at McKesson. Previous to this, he launched and led the building of McKesson Ventures where his investments included Grail, Accolade, Pharmapacks, Hims, Aetion, and American Well. Over his venture career, which also has included a Partner role at Advanced Technology Ventures and Cambia Health, he has invested in and served on the boards of over 25 companies in digital health, health care services, diagnostics, and medical devices.
Before his venture capital career, he had significant operating experience in the healthcare industry. He held various strategy and commercial roles at leading technology companies such as McKesson, Genentech, FitLinxx and The Wilkerson Group. He holds an M.B.A. from the Wharton School and a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania. He was also a member of the USA All-American Rugby team and long ago was the math team champion of New Hampshire.
