Wendy Easterling is a Texas native who began her career in corporate education with Computer Sciences Group (CSC). Throughout her tenure at CSC she held roles in marketing and communications, as well as corporate events coordination. She later migrated into IBM’s Venture Capital Group as a research and project associate, working with the Director of Strategic Ventures. There she helped to facilitate strategic relationships with the Venture Community to leverage their insights and guidance, and to build out VC-backed ecosystems for IBM’s Systems and Technology Group. Along with a small team, she orchestrated very productive and successful events including the “Innovators and Entrepreneurs Series” at IBM’s Austin Innovation Center. She later joined Stonelake Capital Partners, a real estate investment firm, and then aligned with Spindletop Capital Partners, a healthcare investment firm, as Office Manager and Investor Relations Coordinator.
